Join us for a family friendly extended weekend of Vermont Class 4 roads connected by scenic backroads. You can do 2, 3, or 4 days. Whatever fits your schedule. The plan is to start out Thursday morning and return Sunday afternoon. We will be primitive camping each night in 3 different predetermined locations. Camping costs will be minimal and determined by attendance. If you can't make all 4 days you can meet up with us along the way. We will save you a camp spot. (This must be agreed upon before departure). The Friday night camp spot is about 2.5 hours from the Capital District.
Highlights to include but not limited to: Class 4 roads (mostly green, green+, and some blues), epic camp locations, driving across a floating bridge, lots of maple creemees, The Vermont Country Store, Hill Farmstead and The Alchemist Brewery stops.
We will be going from the bottom of Vermont to the top and back again. I have two public land camp spots and a private property for Saturday night. Plan is for breakfast and dinners at camp, restaurant lunch stops each day as well as grocery stops.
We will be meeting at the Denny’s parking lot off exit 15 of the Northway at 8:00AM with a 8:30 departure.
