About the event

This event will be suitable for Green, Blue, Black and Red equipped vehicles.

It’s time for our annual Spring PA Wheeling/Camping trip.  Hopefully, with enough interest, we will be able to hit both locations like we have in the past. Whether we hit AOAA or Rausch, they are professional off road parks and offer trails for any level rig or wheeler. We will split up into groups based on trail difficulty. The itinerary for the event will be travel on Thursday followed by set up and a group social fire, weather permitting, and wheeling on Friday and Saturday. If you haven’t had enough you can wheel on Sunday.

Departure Plan

We will be meeting prior to our departure at The Pilot truck stop on I-88 in Duanesburg @ 10:00 AM Address: 1128 Duanesburg Rd, Rotterdam, NY 12306 Phone: (518) 356-5616. We are looking to head out at 10:30 AM Please have all required equipment for riding with you at this time.

If you can not make the departure group but are going Thursday night or Friday, please let us know so we don't wait at Pilot.

Camping

If you are camping, please pack for the unexpected (Rain, cold/ bad weather, etc). Pack enough meals for your party, appropriate clothing, etc.

All attendees, drivers and passengers, must complete our CDJW online waiver before arriving to the off road park Release

Photo ID. Anyone without a valid Photo ID must provide proof of age or have a legal guardian’s consent. Proof of insurance and registration

Most of us will be staying at our favorite campground, Camp-A-While. They have been our go to spot for years and they have always been amazing to us. The offered amenities are hot showers, swimming pool, bathrooms, a little store, fire rings at each site. There can be truck traffic on the parallel road so if you need ear plugs may be handy. http://campawhilepa.com/ If you wish to camp or need an RV site at Camp-A-While you will need to make a reservation with Camp-A-While. Call or email Michelle directly. In the past they have blocked a group of sites for us and when they are open for the season I will be contacting them to do so.  http://campawhilepa.com/home/contact-us/

Please let us know if you are staying elsewhere from camp awhile so we can keep in contact before heading to the riding.

POT LUCK BBQ

We will be booking the pavilion so that we can have our pot luck bbq with the culinary stylings of Jay Anderson .  CDJW will be buying Hotdogs, burgers, and chips.  Feel free to come hangout, bring a plate to share (or dont, cool either way), and most importantly bond with fellow members!

Riding

Rauch Creek

....................  will be leading a group on black and red trails at Rauch Creek on both days.  The group will be lining up at 7:30AM where there will be an equiptment check.   Departure from camp will be 7:45.  Please have a full tank of gas prior to departure as there will be no fuel stops on the way to the park.
