About the event
Join us for a moving experience, by setting wreaths on the graves of our Veterans. This event takes place across America on the same day at all Veterans Cemeteries. PLEASE keep an eye on this page for updates to the time - the email came through as starting at 12:00 Noon, however same happened last year and it was moved to 10:00 AM.
We will meet at Curtis Lumber about two hours prior to the event start, leaving promptly one and half hours prior to the start to drive to the Cemetery together. The road in backs up early with people going to this and becomes bigger each year! You can request to lay wreaths on specific graves, I personally choose to do so on my father's grave. With that said once we arrive everyone kind of goes their own way to lay wreaths. It is a well organized event very orderly and respectful. There is also a moving ceremony held that can be attended.
