About the event

Last year in June the NEA was able to secure a long term lease for a 550 acre property in Grafton, NH. This property used to be part of an old logging operation and is next to an abandoned mine. Since the lease was signed there has been a handful of workdays already conducted to cut access roads, a camping area and some mild green trails. With it being an old logging property there are already quite a bit of "roads" opened up which makes our job easier. This year the NEA plans to double down on work days and have one on the second Saturday of every month from May till snowfall. This will primarily be a Working weekend not a ton of wheeling. Only driving to get around the property to scout/cut new trails. Most of the work will be conducted Saturday and possibly some touch up things Sunday if you want to hang around.

GPS coordinates to access road: 43.612699,-71.999748

Since the property is a good bit away we will be spending 2 nights out there. If you want you can make the drive in the morning and spend Saturday night. This is 100% Primitive camping and the area is a bit remote so please pack accordingly. There is no exact address for the access road so I have posted the nearest Address and the access road will be just a few hundred feet on the right. 390 Height of Land Rd Grafton, NH 03240

With this being a work day Please bring any equipment you have at home I.E Chainsaws, weed wackers, mowers, loppers, Cutters, gloves, safety equipment, a very good work ethic and plenty of water.
